The Cardio Central team are trained and licensed to teach a multitude of fitness formats, including Kettlebells, Zumba, Boxercise, Metafit and Beatz. Below are some of the core programs that we include in our regular classes;
Zumba Fitness is a Latin-inspired cardio-dance workout that uses music and choreographed steps to form a fitness party atmosphere. While many of the types of dance and music featured in the program are Latin American inspired, classes can also contain everything from jazz to African beats to country to hip-hop and pop.
Kettlebells is a weights based class using Kettlebells. It’s a total body workout and is suitable for all fitness levels as the exercises can be modified.
Boxercise is an exercise class based on the training concepts boxers use to keep fit. Classes can take a variety of formats but a typical one may involve shadow-boxing, skipping, hitting pads, kicking punchbags, press-ups, shuttle-runs and sit-ups. Most boxercise classes are aimed at men and women of all ages and fitness standards. As no class involves the physical hitting of an opponent, it is a fun, challenging and safe workout.
Beatz Fitness covers multiple styles of classes, including;
- Fit-Beatz – Choreographed dance exercise classes to modern dance music
- Street-Beatz – R&B, Hip-Hop, Garage, D&B and Grime
- GlowBeatz – Utilising glowsticks and club lighting
- Little-Beatz – Aimed at children up to 11
